1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. When you use mapplot, we store your mission data, project details, and export history. We also collect standard usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the mapplot service
• To process your subscription and billing
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets)
• To send product updates if you opt in
• To improve our service based on usage patterns

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your credit card details directly.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (Supabase for database hosting, Stripe for payment processing, Vercel for application hosting).

5. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your account and data at any time through your Account settings page. You can export your mission data before deleting your account. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.
